Pros

salary and bonus are good. Small perks like off-sites, parties and corporate gifts. Sense of Community to some extent

Cons

the type of work is low value and boyshopped. As an employee it's very low level compared to competitors (boring, implementation only). Company is signing large deals for boring work (termed change sourcing). the company's core is ex-accenture and it's these memebers who are promoted over skilled equivs. very political at times. Furthermore due to a need to hire many 2nd or 3rd tier staff are less experienced than 1st tier. Hence a lot of incompetent hires there.

They pay your salary on time ! (till they fire you just because)

Cons

Can you make clear to us what the upcoming layoffs assessment criteria are? Are you going to roll the dice? Visit a fortune teller? Close your eyes and pick? Bench status? Performance ratings? Friendships, maybe? (hmmm, cheeky me)

After a period of unprecedented levels of demand, the demand for consulting services has moderated somewhat due to the current economic climate. Unfortunately, this has resulted in us offering voluntary redundancies to a number of employees in the UK. Pros

I get paid on a monthly basis.

Cons

The HR team cannot manage a simple task of sharing information on end of year performance in a timely manner. There is no management of people's expectations. This is my career. Yet Capco deal with people as if we are pawns and then wonder why people decide to leave.

Thank you for your feedback. There was a clear timeline communicated around performance management at the start of the process, which was closely followed throughout. However, we appreciate there was a short delay at the very end, with the final communication happening later in the week than anticipated.
