Pros

-Good salary -Good benefits -Good range of Financial services clients -Good consulting opportunities

Cons

-Leadership (Partners & Managing Principals) focused on serving themselves rather than helping others to grow, develop and succeed. -Plenty of backstabbing by Managing Principals to get a shot at Partnership at the expense of others -No positive role models -Poor support for self development and promotion -Poor work life balance

While we are pleased to read that you enjoyed many of the benefits of working at Capco, we are disappointed to read your overall perspective. As an organization, we promote a collaborative and inclusive culture, reinforced by our values, processes, and policies. We have an extensive learning curriculum alongside coaching and knowledge sharing events to support career development. We also have a defined performance enablement process with two promotion cycles per year and clear promotion guidelines. At Managing Principal level, performance assessments place a firm focus on tangible commercial outcomes as well as being subject to significant review and elaboration to ensure fair and objective assessment of contribution. Many of our colleagues have joined from industry or other backgrounds, and we welcome fresh thinking and fresh perspectives – in fact, one of our values, Make a Difference, is about challenging the status quo and thinking beyond boundaries. Our people surveys have shown that inclusion, authenticity and fair treatment are among our biggest strengths.

We are sorry to read about your views of Capco. All new colleagues go through a comprehensive onboarding process and are assigned a coach to ensure they have someone to support them on their Capco journey in addition to their manager. If at any time someone needs additional support they are encouraged to reach out to their HR Business Partner or a member of the leadership team. Colleagues spending time on the bench in between projects is the nature of consulting and people on the bench have the opportunity to get involved in projects which add value to our business. It also allows for faster ramp up times on projects as needed. It is difficult to comment on some of your other points without more context, however, we would encourage any employee who has questions, concerns, or just needs a little extra support to reach out through one of our many internal channels.
