Pros

In this work hard, play hard culture, Capco brought the team from all of North America on a 3-night off-site to Puerto Rico to celebrate 2014 and to energize for 2015. What a great way to recharge, to bond with colleagues & leaders and to be inspired to prepare for the year ahead! The content and speakers at the off-site were world class and, at times, even mind-blowing. Capco has grown significantly in the past year and the dynamic leaders have a clear vision and path on how to grow even more in 2015.

Cons

Pro and con -- Capco is very fast-paced!

Pros

Capco has levels, like any company, but those are rarely seen on project teams where everyone has the chance to demonstrate their skills or learn new ones by jumping in - partners work along side all other levels - creates a supportive environment for expanding your talents. The people I work with are professional and fun - a sense of humor, adventure and innovation makes every day interesting. This is encouraged at all levels -- just returned from Puerto Rico - where the entire North American team spent 3 days working together on important projects such as cardboard boat designing, building and racing - meeting fellow Capcoites I have not yet had the pleasure of working on a project with all the while being encouraged to take some risks, get involved and expand my skills and career.

Cons

If you want to sit back and have others manage your career or give you a manual of procedures on how to consult or approach a project - Capco is not for you.

Pros

Capco has been a great place to work. They practice what they preach in terms of meritocracy; as an Associate I have had ample facetime with partners and upper management. Career growth at Capco lands squarely on the individual. The more you expose yourself to senior leadership, and the more you become involved in the processes, the more successful you will be. IF you are a good employee, you WILL get promoted. Capco also has a very impressive list of Tier 1, bulge-bracket clients, and if you are a good employee you can choose your projects and career path. Every partner I have had the opportunity to meet has been very impressive and extremely welcoming.

Cons

Every new company has its growing pains. At times, meetings or ideas can feel thrown together and disorganized and the lack of structure that creates so many positives in other areas can sometimes be a negative.
