Pros

I was able to travel some and got to meet some really great friends. I never really liked the work though and thats why i left. We worked in a really nice building and there were a lot of cool places near it.

Cons

I got to do a lot of research mainly, but nothing of real value i thought. It would have been nice to have had some more challenging and different projects. It gets tiring working in a cubicle all day on a computer. Parking was always a problem in the city, it would have been better to have been located in a smaller place.

Pros

I like the recent focus on politics. The website is one of the top two or three news sites (in terms of traffic) anywhere. Cable news--for better or for worse--isn't going anywhere as a primary news source for many Americans, and that means a lot in terms of job security when newspapers are going belly-up left and right. And there are plenty of really good people working here.

Cons

It's a bureaucracy. One hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing. Getting vacation/expenses etc. is like going to the DMV on a bad day. A lot of the editorial ideas are extemely gimmicky and obviously came from a bunch of suits sitting around in a board room.
