      Decent work-life balance but no growth opportunities

      Pros

      - International organisation which means you can cover news from countries outside Singapore - Hardly have to work overtime

      Cons

      - Most of the stories written are based on reports and there is limited scope for creative and original stories - There is zero training given to staff - Compensation is poor and promotions rarely come by - The turnover is high with a resignation happening on a weekly basis

      Ignore the fake four star reviews, all paid for. One friendly advice after years of getting stuck there: WIDE BERTH!

      Cons

      The most miserable and toxic work environment, rotten from the top. Bullying is commonplace even expected, heavy into politics. All the initiatives that are trying to counteract this are weak and no one really takes them seriously (LGBTQ, Diversity, Anti harassment etc....) Zero prospects for progress unless you are a brown-nose uptight corporate muppet. Learning is actively denied by superiors. Mundane daily tasks. Outdated equipment, outdated values, outdated, profit-first oriented brand. Bottom line: look elsewhere, there are much better companies/gigs out there.
