Unclear direction, jeopardize employee development

Pros

Good flexible benefits which can be used for gym membership, travel and other things.

Cons

The term staff development does not exist in the company's dictionary. Managers constantly gaslight staff, promotions take long to come by and it's unclear what is needed to progress. Also managers sometimes stand in the way of staff's growth by not extending opportunities or limiting scope for progression. The future of the company is uncertain with a spin off in the works.

Pros

Opportunity to cover biggest stories in business/finance. On-air talent are amazing to work with.

Cons

Some teams are incredibly overworked. Performance is based largely off of engagement metrics, not the quality of reporting.
