Pros

Free lunch and snacks. Good employee benefits and welfare.

Cons

No job security, always reminded that we will be replaced easily. Toxic management and only lookout for their own people. Always changing and rigid management skills

Pros

The name on your resume-but would only attract other salver tier employers not the good ones

Cons

Horrible culture. No WLB at all. Don't talk about your weekend plan with you manager because they don't think you need a weekend

Pros

Benefits (Depending on the country): - Free catering at the office - Subsidized public transport - Gym & Wellness - Small perks etc.

Cons

1. Performance Review - totally depends on your +1 and +2s opinion. Not data-driven, decision is made regardless of your achievements, and then they can even feed you with delusional reasons (i.e. I was told I take vacations unethically, not at all relevant, also considering that my +1 approves them) 2. You are alone. Everyone is nice a great on words. In the end everyone will look very busy, only come to you if they need something (I worked with 100 stakeholders). You are dropped with an OKR, no tools, no frameworks, do whatever you want to get there, jump off the roof, work 24/7. You are lucky to work in a team, document everything and peacock at the meetings, otherwise, your credits are stolen. 3. No dignity. They wanted to remove me due to restructuring, which I understand. But, severance was lower than internal policy, they always cut down the deadlines and conditions that I negotiated with them, literally their words and written confirmation had no value. 4. Lost management. I changed 4 leaders in 2 years, none of them knew what I was doing, besides that my OKR was feeding theirs. They asked how they can help but every time they directed conversation into me solving an issue myself (guess if I could I wouldn't have contacted them on the first place)
