      BCG--Smart people, but work/life can be tough

      Pros

      BCG has some of the smartest people around. The caliber of people you meet at the firm is really incredible.

      Cons

      The travel in some offices can be particularly brutal and being away from family for 3-4 nights a week can be tough.

      Excellent place to learn about business frameworks and gain exposure to diverse industries. Quality of peers especially at the associate level is unmatched. Chance to hone your communication and analytical skills as well.

      Cons

      Client always come first. There will be numerous times when you have to give up your evenings and weekends to meet urgent client deadlines. This depends to some extent on the partner or project leader on your particular case.
