Pros

- Access to the most interesting business problems - Working with bright people and clients excited about the opportunity to improve and change - Perks, pay

Cons

- Hours are draining, timelines are often unrealistic, work is often 'just paper' not real business change - This is the only place I have ever worked where I felt like being a woman was a huge liability to getting ahead; frequently experienced sexism from being asked to do proposals to give the impression of a gender balanced team only to be replaced by a man for the actual work, leadership teams cutting me out of social events or adhoc conversations when I was the only woman, opportunities given to men at my level with lower overall ratings and less experience in a topic area because of their bro-y, chummy relationships with majority male leadership teams
