      Pros

      Staff members are friendly Can get discount in store

      Cons

      Worst management I've ever experienced. They talk to people like they are dirt swear at them talk behind there backs. Sit in the office all day doing nothing never on the shopfloor. You get made to feel guilty if you are ever sick as there is no cover for your shifts. (Even though you can't help Being ill) not allowed holidays that start mid week although the manager is allowed. If your store wins a competition you still have to work to get an incentive which is usually a pack of sweets even if you won a £100 prize. I have witnessed management talking to staff numerous times like they are worthless and it is absolutely disgusting.

      Nothing its really that bad shocking tacticts aimed at colleagues the discount is poor so its a little better than the dole.

      Cons

      Bullying bullying bullying! Disgrace of a company treat colleagues like dogs in dirt , rotars arrive changed every week no warning, they use any excuse to sack you, vile atmosphere of intimidation , company really is as stupid as youve read and they have dellusions of grandur thinking they are as big as the big four, they sell rubbish at the end of the day and they have lots to learn plus no customer service desk .

      Colleges are great but management and administration are a BM (B loody M ess). I think this sums up the general picture for working at B&M.

      Cons

      If you think the old cliché of 'Who you know not what you know’ is what matters at B&M! Then think again'! They have reinvented the quote to ‘It’s not who or what you know, it’s whose butt you are prepared to wipe and crawl up to be accepted by the top knobs’ Sadly; colleges are great but management and administration are a BM (B loody M ess). I think this sums up the general picture for working at B&M.
