      Great working culture and people

      Pros

      Good consistent training and workshops; friendly people (esp at headquarters) and management; open international culture

      Cons

      Seemed to be some preference for expats compared to locals; some managers did not seem to value and provide career growth opportunities for locals compared to the expats from home country in same team.

      Pros

      People are willing to teach from scratch and it is a great place to learn. Some leaders truly have what it takes and employees could benefit a lot from such leaders.

      Cons

      A place full of politics. Must be able to manage people. And some management level do not have what it takes.

      A company rapidly putting its staff last

      Pros

      Benefits package still attractive, so although pension scheme has moved to defined benefits the employer contribution is likely to be unmatched in the market. Still gives annual bonus (personal and company performance based). Good internal training courses, and usually a good commitment to professional development. Good commitment to social responsibility programmes.

      Cons

      Constant restructures (10 weeks between the last two), ergo little job security and negative impact on atmosphere/morale. A lot of good talent now left company in last 12 months. Annual share award all but disappeared. Very short-termist view with regards to new initiatives and change investment. Declining staff satisfaction scores.
