Pros
Benefits package still attractive, so although pension scheme has moved to defined benefits the employer contribution is likely to be unmatched in the market. Still gives annual bonus (personal and company performance based). Good internal training courses, and usually a good commitment to professional development. Good commitment to social responsibility programmes.
Cons
Constant restructures (10 weeks between the last two), ergo little job security and negative impact on atmosphere/morale. A lot of good talent now left company in last 12 months. Annual share award all but disappeared. Very short-termist view with regards to new initiatives and change investment. Declining staff satisfaction scores.
