Pros

Fantastic benefits, great salaries if you're willing to fight for it. Opportunities are everywhere and promotions to be had for those willing to do the work and fight for it. Our new CEO has the right mindset of prioritising agile working and digital first, and she motivates the team in ways I've never seen in my 10 years of working here.

Cons

Bureaucracy is a real problem and only now does it feel like it's starting to change now that we have a new CEO. Having open conversations to challenge things that don't make sense or just quite simply will not work isn't something that's easily done in Aviva. You have to find the right person to talk to - even talking with the Heads of doesn't yield much of a result as the Heads do not wish to rock the boat too much.
