Pros

Other non IT areas of business are reportedly good places to work.

Cons

Culture in IT division isn’t great due to the top. Causes senior leadership to leave quickly.

Pros

There are no pros to working here

Cons

If I could give aviva 0 stars, I would. They talk about mental health awareness but do nothing but make people’s lives a misery. Favouritism is key at Aviva with poor leaders and a high level of bullying. Working for Aviva has been the worst mistake of my life.

Pros

Great company with a really strong ethos, focus currently is very high on wellbeing. Frequent free fruit, wellbeing rooms etc. I've joined as an Junior Data Scientist and greatly enjoying my time with the company. Great flexibility, e.g. working from home or office with flexible working hours. 'Stupid rules' department who look into anything that should be changed, which is refreshing and ambitious.

Cons

'Frozen middle layer of senior-management', strong constraints in place for things like IT which can sometimes be counter-intuitive.
