Pros

Can’t really think of. Think twice if you want to join.

Cons

No salary adjustment since 2022 for people who can’t get promoted. And unless you place the right bet and get in with the right people, you won’t be promoted regardless of how good your metrics are. Favourism definitely exists. Also people are quietly disappearing… something I’ve seen for a few years and becoming a common practice in the past few months. Loss of its own brand. Don’t have its own London office anymore and use the same building as Accenture. Some regions and functions have entirely absorbed into Accenture recently. Gutted to see Avanade not respecting their people as they claim as are but honestly not surprised under the constantly changing management.

Pros

Free training for azure certifications, on your own time though....

Cons

Its an orange themed sweatshop. God forbid if you are on a Visa or a work permit tied to your employer. The only thing that matters is billability and they will squeeze you forever. They have no problems skirting the lines between what are legal and illegal in terms of employee welfare but will happily preach that they are one of the best places to work for. They were advertising a few of years ago that they were nominated for best places to work a week AFTER laying off people. The vacation days don't matter because you will be asked to take them in case of bench time even if you don't need a vacation. And please don't get burned out or tired, and raise a hand, tired = fired. Now as per policy if a person is hard locked then they are supposed to be released from the project and onboarded to a new one. But nope it's easy for a senior to override it. What's the point of a hard lock anyways. It becomes a lot worse if you are a person of color or on a visa, (the perfect visa slave). Where will you go? Back to your own country. That's the mentality of management. But you know what BE ORANGE.
