Pros

The best place to work with disciplined and talented colleagues here, and of course, competitive pay is also the important factor to join ARM.

Cons

Not easy for a new starter to ramp up since there's no organised technical traning process.

Thanks for leaving a review! While ARM has a very quick day 1 onboarding process so you're able to jump in to projects, we also have a "Big Buddy" program, where all new hires are paired with someone that can answer questions you might have. While it's not a technical training process as you're referring to, we feel this closer 1:1 relationship will allow employees to be more open than in a formal classroom session. Plus, it's two free lunches that the Big Buddy should be picking up the tab for :) Once you've been established for a few months, you'll also be invited to the ARM Big Picture event, where you can meet coworkers from other offices and departments for some fun and networking. If you have any additional feedback on how we can make the new starter/onboarding process even better, please don't hesitate to reach out to your HR business partner! -Rick C. Thanks for leaving a review! As a company, we've grown quite big in such a short amount of time. As a result, our IT and HR departments are trying their best to keep up with the growth, which includes developing processes to help streamline them and make them more efficient. This does take time, worth the end goal to make our jobs in HR/IT a bit easier! -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager

Thanks for leaving a review! We recently launched the new AFDS logbook, which will negate the need for the once yearly review. This way, you can have more frequent and structured reviews/feedback with your line manager. Read more about it in the ARM Digest email that was sent out today (6/22). We're in the middle of reevaluating employee rewards, which includes salary, bonus, equity and benefits, and will do adjustments to once our evaluations are complete. As for the improving the facilities, as the company grows in each of our locations, we'll do strategic upgrades to accommodate the growing staff. We've recently announced the expansion of the Cambridge HQ, but we're also almost finished with the new building in our Austin, TX office, scheduled for a late July move in, so we do try to make the work environment a fun and enjoyable one to be in! -Rick C.
