      Pros

      ARM is a market leader and in the front of technology for mobile, IoT and others. You have the chance to learn a lot, and as the Israeli branch is expanding there are opportunities for personal growth,and also ramp for possible re-location. ARM is also very good name on your CV. Salaries and benefits are good. atmosphere is good, not a lot of politics.

      Cons

      Being a small extension of an English company you are not at the heart of things, and your ability to influence is smaller. Another thing, hardly any public transportation available to the Kfar Netter office which means you must use a car.

      Pros

      Very interesting work. Very good work atmosphere. Lots of colleagues who know more than you.

      Cons

      Very little support for partners of engineers. It's awfully difficult for a foreigner to get a job in Trondheim unless you are an engineer. Spouses have a *very* hard time in Trondheim. And speaking Norwegian fluently is just one of the many hurdles they must face in order to get a job. Quite a few foreign engineers have had to go back to their countries because of this.

      Pros

      Work is challenging, but it's rewarding to see how the developed technologies work their way to end users. Good opportunities for growth, both in terms of career and technologies.

      Cons

      Sometimes lack of visibility of the big picture from engineering, making it difficult to understand some management decisions. Communications have improved on this over the years.
