      Mixed Feelings

      Pros

      Relaxed work environment, great quality of life. e.g finishing at 16:00 on a regular basis.

      Cons

      Taking design authority guidance from IT Architects that have less knowledge than I do with Windows and server\cloud infrastructure. Look up some of the Architects for the company on linkedin you will see next to no technical certifications and a career history certainly that shows they are out of their depth. Having to take advice from these people that know far less than I do is not typical in other organisations.

      Pros

      Pretty good comp program that adds to the base salary.

      Cons

      Constant reorgs cause confusion No career path for Project Managers when compared to Engineering Line management and upper management rarely truely know what the Project Managers are actually doing. Usually the engineering teams know your worth and performance better than your own organisation.

      Pros

      You have good chunk of personal time, no push on daily work

      Cons

      too many line managers, unnecessary deep hierarchy, and also a good portion of line managers completely doesn't qualify, some tech leads are doing nothing. I could see good people are leaving while bad people are happy remaining.
