Pros

I could not find any better reason why to work there.

Cons

I dont mean all the managers in this company are like this. This is only with my experience. My managers were SB and PP, If you were joining under these fellows never ever think of joining this company. Blood sucking and low level and degrading managers in this world. If there are any better words to use them i dont know. 1) Your immediate manager never wanted you to talk to his boss at any case, not even a mail. He called and scolded for small reasons that i kept my one level above manager into loop. 2) They never trust in employees loyalty. 3) They impose their own intrest saying company policy. 4) You should spend atleast 45min to prove that you logged in and worked. I mean you will have to fill multiple timesheets. Worst thing is they also brought some tool to record your monitor that what you are working on??? I dont know what to say for this. 5) No matter what your situation, you will have to work(They forced me to work from hospital when my family in hospital bed, that too im serving notice period and still eligible for paternity leaves...because of his half knowledge i worked in hospital). 6) second level managers never bothered about employee well being. They just think managers are someone who never reached and speak fancy words with higher heads.

Pros

Having Aon looks good on a resume

Cons

In May of 2020 Aon announced it would cut all employees pay by 20% until further notice. They claim this was done because they didn’t want to lay anyone off during covid. Management allowed you the opportunity to fight the 20% pay cut, all you had to do was provide your bank statements, stock information, and any other documents that showed how much money you have. Aon claimed they needed this information because they wanted to be sure that you did in fact need your full pay. After the pay cut many people at Aon had their workload doubled. This type of arrogance from Aon wasn’t limited to just that; it was in everything. Toxic work environment in most of departments.

Pros

Its people. Fro my experience the team on a whole across the globe are a joy to work with,, and are in most cases extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic to assist. In addition due to the size of the company their is a varied client base you will be exposed to keeping things fresh and interesting as well as helping develop you knowledge

Cons

The leadership team at times is detached form reality and spends enormous amounts of time and money on corporate mumbo jumbo with a new scheme or initiative that in the majority of cases doesn't help any clients or anyone doing the day to day business. Pay is also low in comparison to peer (witht he exception of Marsh) and teams are very lean resulting in large workloads for most employees. This results in many leaving
