Pros

Opportunities (mostly lateral), time-off and vacation are better than most, leadership experience, office culture, the employees are truly Aon's strength in this business.

Cons

Management direction seems confused (push new business, renewals, conflicted in their statements), silos, pay is below average in this market even though management states it's in the upper quartile, management feedback inaccurate.

Pros

Flexibility with telecommuting policy is a big plus. Some groups have low turnover which says a lot for the management. Overall benefits, including training opportunities, are decent.

Cons

Hard to get a promotion in many areas, unless you have the right connections. Given tight budgets, employees are more willing to make consessions on pay/bonuses - as long as it is perceived to be equitable. Many times, good resources end up leaving due to inequity.
