Pros

We're given plenty of flexibility to work from home when needed and aren't monitored and are treated like adults, as long as our clients are kept happy. The office is quite nice and modern and new in the Cheesegrater. The people can be very nice and supportive.

Cons

Absolutely no clear career path, it doesn't matter how hard you work, you'll only get promoted if you threaten to quit. Effort does not get recognized, very little support for development, team members are told to go off and find their own niche without any support. Everyone is only out for themselves and these is little engagement. Benefits are standard, pay is extremely under market practice and the grade level salary band is extremely wide so many junior employees start on significantly higher salaries than employees who have been around for several years. The new HQ building is extortionately expensive, would preferred to be in the old building and take a pay rise instead! Very little diversity in the teams as well - most people are white British males. Very little women in leadership positions. Women who return from maternity are often neglected and not invited to prospect client pitches because management assume they don't want to progress their careers. Frustrations are communicated regularly to management but corrections are never implemented. Very old school ways of working exist.
