Pros

Company promotes work life balance and professional development. As people, the employees in general are open, friendly and cheerful. As colleagues, most employees are team oriented, friendly and helpful. Employees openly and enthusiastically promote the company's services and products. Company encourages hiring internally.

Cons

Although the company promotes work life balance and professional development, (like most things in life) it is only as good as your leader's follow-through. Relationships are really important, often times more important than actual performance. Many employees are upset after their annual review because delivering on goals doesn't matter if the leadership prefers your peer. Also if your leader isn't well liked, you won't get a good rating. Because relationships are so important, a poor review can mean that you'll have a very hard time getting another job in the company. Things move slowly due to consensus building, large teams and conservatism.

Pros

Great benefits, lots of travel opportunities, shift flexibility. If you don't like your supervisor, chances are you'll have a new one within a few months anyway. Plenty of different opportunities for knowledge growth.

Cons

call after call after call, repetitive work. Opportunities for lateral moves but difficult to get promoted from within unless you've been with the company a long time. Best shifts and vacation go to the employees with the most years of service. Not enough training to help you advance.
