Business Outlook

Pros

Solid company; Exceptional brand; Highly focused on Service and Customer Experience; Global opportunities. Smart, talented workforce. Generally a solid, positive work culture (but varies from business unit to business unit).

Cons

Company is in a transitional phase; Has experienced a lot of talent flight in the past two to three years. Lost some key Co-Brand partnerships (Costco; JetBlue). A major (and costly) push to be a more financially inclusive brand expanding into the Prepaid Card space has largely failed to produce sustainable results or profitable contribution to the bottom line. But changer and transition can also create opportunities. 2016 may be a challenging year for this firm.

Pros

Work life balance. Acceptable pay. Good people. Collaborative environment. Great products and brand

Cons

Perferental treatment given to minorities (women, LGBT, ethnic minorities, etc.) Very good and inclusive environment but overly concerned with promoting minorities rather than high performers. Lots of White Males complain about this within the company.
