Salary compensation was very good, but there was very limited potential for upside for a job well done. Prefer more merit based compensation for objectives being met to encourage staff to do the right things for the business to move it forward.

Cons

Upper management had another agenda; many second guessed your actions and abilities without ever giving opportunity to succeed and shine.

There are too many politics involved when working for Abbott. Upper management is very arrogant, selfish, and too many employees are looking to be very cut throat. The culture is not comfortable. The management isnt very trustworthy. They will write you up for anything. They dont care about you or your family.
