Pros

There are none in my opinion.

Cons

RUN RUN RUN far away from this company. If you are going to this job thinking it will be better than your last IT WON'T BE. Move on. The management staff is incompetent. They all think the site cannot function without them, because they are so amazing. Management is full of bullies that just belittle each other constantly during meetings. The place is a good ol' boys club. I've never seen so many men be so dismissive of the women and treat them like they are their personal secretaries. Managers have been written up and upper management knows of the poor behavior and nothing is ever done. I would not want my wife to work here. The pay is not competitive. MOVE ON.

Pros

- Nice campus - Cafeteria on site - legacy Abbott people/groups (and a few Alere people)

Cons

-Morale - awful -Managers with a my way or the highway behaviors lead to high turnover - doormats and blind servants will thrive and succeed. This behavior trickles down to toxic behaviors at the individual contributor level, who are rewarded for displaying the gold standard. Anyone passionate about their work or anyone with a voice look elsewhere. -Unstable, direction (of the future)changes daily, hard to complete long term projects. It's dysfunctional and abnormal. Don't confuse this with direction of day to day short term goals changing that would be normal. -Poor Quality (disclaimer: there are some good people in quality yet ultimately it suffers since the departments needing quality sign off have the most political power and sucessfully intervene decision making at quality expense)Anyone passionate about quality look elsewhere.
