Beautiful building and roof-top garden. Good location for traffic in Austin.

Cons

Zero company culture. ZERO. Abbott doesn’t even have a Christmas party (let alone a bonus) for their employees. The work environment is lonely and boring when it comes to co-workers. But, the work load!!! It is so high! This company runs super lean... why? Every department is increasingly short staffed. The departments are also very siloed. No one there understands the big picture and how the dots connect to complete any process.

Pros

Benefits are very good, 401k, pension, medical dental eye. Company car etc. wish I could tell you more good, but benefits are it.

Cons

Micro managed. Management by intimidation. High turnover. Ego maniacs in leadership roles. Abbott will sell this unit. Also, competing against their own diagnostic division. Did I mention the worst culture of any company of have worked for over 25 years.
