All the goods things about SJM have gone as Abbott (Vascular) took over. SJM leadership were slowly let go and replaced with Vascular employees (most of them privileged white men) who just promoted a hostile work environment. Beware - the place is having major turnover issues. - No bonus, no stock option for anyone below manager level - Uncompetitive salary, way below the current market trend - Zero career growth unless you kiss your boss a** - Inhumane leadership that cares more about the numbers/metrics than employee needs - Zero work life balance - Racist new management

There are a lot of opportunities to advance and some managers are very willing to support.

Cons

Upper management is very stringent. Corporate environment is not friendly to the individuals doing the work. Very metric driven without providing any additional support. Willing to cut the most minimal costs.
