Pros

Great people and important products that help society. I have never felt like I was being asked to do anything unethical. I like dealing with science, evidence, and decisions based on facts and not the feelings of someone in the c-suite.

Cons

Minimal remote working throughout the pandemic. No real team building. Morale is low because of the long hours. Constantly booking meetings over the lunch hour. No respect for personal time, especially if something is due to the FDA. The office really sucks.

Pros

Pay is great with good benefits and 401K

Cons

Poor management and communications. A lot of favoritism/sexism. Many of the employees are under utilized, no room for development within the company unless you know someone who will pull strings for you. And even then, someone who is favored may get the position over someone who is clearly qualified. Long work hours, don’t get recognition and don’t feel appreciated for the hard work.

Pros

I’ll let you when I think of a pro

Cons

- the offer letter does not include explicit equity incentive award (eg RSU, stock options, etc) information. Instead it says that you will receive a letter about that after you accept your offer. But how can you can accept without knowing the full compensation? That was a red flag. Fast forward to 2 months on the job and HR still won’t tell you. Their website, if you hunt it down, says it will be determined by the leadership team when it’s time for employee evaluations. BUT GUESS WHAT? YOU ONLY GET THESE IF YOU STAY OVER 2 years. :/ -leadership sucks. They are not necessarily coming from a health care background, so why would they care about the patient let alone their workforce. - underpaid, grossly -abuse and toxicity -the list goes on, just sit outside and watch the employees when they leave from the office. Their faces say it all.
