High pay, good benefits, you can stay in role for quite some time

Cons

Archaic views ("you're only working if I can see you at your desk"), a little out of touch with diversity, micro-manage-y (hard to make your own decisions for your business/workload)

Bad leadership behavior to external parties

Most of the people are very nice and seem to be genuinely interested in the companies success

Cons

Allowed extremely bad behavior of one specific person to external agencies, partners, etc... One employee was allowed to take advantage of stature at company and bully vendors, agencies, etc - yelled, belittled and constantly treated external people poorly. Acted like they were the only person at Abbott that mattered and protected their external little world at all costs. At one point, an agency staff member had to babysit their kid that was on the business trip with them so they could go out with their spouse.
