I saw people going from intern to Team Lead in less than 3 years. You can also apply for an internal transfer if you want to change department.

Salary: below market average. A Team Lead in Auto1 earns less than the average Senior Analyst in another company in Berlin. After 2-3 years people tend to leave mostly for financial reasons. Hierarchy: some teams have stopped growing and are more established. Career advancement in these teams is rarely possible. My tips to avoid these negatives: make an accurate estimate of your expenses before applying. Actively negotiate salary during final rounds of selection. During the interview phase, investigate future growth plans for the team and how fast people get promoted.
