Great colleagues but unbearable management

Pros

Relocation and official stuff in Berlin assistance (by HRs), good hardware. They are using latest technologies, you will definitely have something to learn from them. Good office location, 2 stops from Alexanderplatz

Cons

Management is failing to plan properly deadlines and quite often forcing people to overtime. Some team managers including top are treat people quite bad. IT office has a very noisy workplace, not enough oxygen. They hire a lot of new people each month thus they offer somewhat lower salary than other companies in Berlin.

Pros

International colleagues, not formal at all, they can be pretty helpful in surviving to this company. Nice and friendly HR department.

Cons

Horrible and arrogant management, and not as competent as they think to be just because they are Germans, especially if we consider that many of them are in that position just because relatives or friends of the investors. If you are not German you're automatically an idiot for them and there is no chance to make a career. (Unpaid) overtime often requested.

Lots of learning opportunities. Education budget very high. Super professional and experienced peers (devs). Some teams have relaxed working environment.

Cons

Attending conferences requires you to take vacation. No work hours, overtime is expected from you. Organization is really painfully bad, top down. Any ideas coming bottom up are ignored.
