Pros

- Competitive salary and good holiday pay. - Adjusters have the ability to make their own claim decisions in most cases.

Cons

- Too many changes not communicated to employees. - Lack of adequate employee compensation considering the amount of work expected out of the employee. - Too much expectation and not enough support.

Pros

Very aggressive company - they like people who think outside the envelope

Cons

Compensation is terrible. Morale is terrible. Anyone who can leave is doing so, and the famed "bench strength" is being sorely tested. Most of the management is not friendly to employees and have not been promoted for their people skills. There is a tremendous arrogance amongst the company in general, which is only starting to change a bit now that the dirty laundry has been aired.

Pros

Since the bailout, the company has gone out of their way to treat the current employees better and they are taking more steps toward employee retention and satisfaction

Cons

Job security is questionable. There is also the cloud of working for the company formally known as AIG which creates issues outside of the workplace.
