Pros

Security, support are good with this company. Kind of a no frills environment as there isn't any excitement in the workplace. Very quiet

Cons

Not a lot of support or backing. Trying to gauge direction in this company is tough because everyone is protecting themselves.

Pros

High Turnover, so realitively easy to get a job. They (at least the SLC office) burn through people at such a high rate that getting a position has been easy. As the economy slows, that may change. Their benefits are at least adequate, although, by no means steller. The people there are great, it just the corporate culture that turns decent people into life sucking, desperate people. Managment has been workable to get important times off, but if an emergency arises, all bets are off, you are expected to drop all plans and work until the situation is resolved. .

Cons

They want your life, chew you up and spit you out. 100% of managements attention is on deliverable while maintaining the bottom line. Average hours worked is 60 hours a week with some weeks going over 100. At one point they had the salaried positions doing mandatory 12 hour days. The communication between team members with different responsibilites was like hot potatoe. The person who couldn't pass the potatoe fast enough was blamed for the problem that inevitabily arose. They Winflex system which we worked on is inherintly broken, causing all sorts of stress and problems. People are low on the list of prioritys.

Pros

The benefits are above average. Once you are in you are in until you decide to leave. There is a good amount of flexibility in terms of arranging time off if necessary, etc. There is a lot of opportunity for personal and professional growth and development via internal resources- job postings, online courses, support for attending seminars, receiving professional designations. You won't necessarily get rewarded in the position you are in for doing those things, but you could become qualified for another position. Each group has it's own culture, for better or worse, so it pays to do your research before making a move.

Cons

Working hard does not necessarily guarantee success. Management didn't necessarily get promoted by performing at a higher level the work of the group. Management doesn't always have any management experience, or skills, which can be frustrating. Each division/group seems to function completely independently in terms of policy enforcement, procedures, and expectations. The divisions between the groups cause a lot of customer frustration. ADP is beginning to address this, but if the model doesn't change it remains to be seen if anything substantial will change for customers. Depending on your position, some jobs are more nebulous than others- tasks as assigned, not necessarily your role.
