Pros

They have potlucks to celebrate us but we have to bring the food?

Cons

According to Maria Black, we had a record breaking FY2024 some of the best numbers they have ever seen. Yet our bonus? We qualified for a 0.65% and our of the goodness of their hearts they gave us an extra 2%. Consultants are overloaded and overwhelmed, Many departments are understaffed causing delays in service to clients so we as the front line have to deal with the frustrated clients. We used to get incentives all the time like shirts and yeti cups and gift cards. Lately? Emails saying we purchase our own tshirts. Managers used to walk around with the snack cart at least but all that has stopped and now our bonuses are the worst we have ever seen yet we have had the best numbers they have ever seen? The pay compared to companies like ukg and paycor is low and they amount of accounts they promised we would have is now almost double. I saw many people asking for resume help since our bonuses were announced and I hope everyone finds a place they are truly valued to work.

Pros

When I first started at ADP, it was during COVID and things were great. I had the best manager I’ve ever had, we got Uber eats meals relatively often, and working from home was perfect since all of our zoom calls are on WebEx.

Cons

Militant RTO policy, openly punishing already homeshored employees by reducing bonus/promotions. Company boasts about exploding sales and groundbreaking records while cutting bonus amounts for all employees. All of the best employees are leaving, the ones who remain are overworked.

Great until it becomes toxic

Pros

Great ramp period pay, lifestyle benefits package, pay is more than the industry average.

Cons

After 6 months you realize how toxic this place is and deals are very, very hard to come by. Management is extremely unsupportive and pushes every suggestion/request back to you to resolve. Expect to split 50% or more of your deal with someone else oh and...forget about protected accounts. The other teams literally steal your accounts or calls into them and gets a cut. The commission is minimal until you get close to 100% of quota. (like 4k on a 275k oppty) No structure. You're sent out of product training with no direction, templates, etc.. except a mentor who gets 50% of your commission for 6 months and barely helps you. Your book of business is primarily termed customers (60%) accounts are not vetted for closure or company size and they have been called on repeatedly for years. Benefits are waay more expensive then other orgs. Your constantly watched via Webex Teams and expected to constantly be on. Your internal partners are difficult and rude, you are talked down to and you have no support. Your manager will most likely be nothing but critical and not have your back in any way shape or form. Honestly, I regret accepting this job, it's one of the worst I have ever had. I would go to HR if that wouldn't mean retaliation. Yes..it is that bad.
