Interview
I had a phone interview in June 2018 w/ the recruiter, was brought in for another in person interview w/ the recruiter then an assessment test all done on paper (you would think a tech company would have a loaner laptop for assessment tests). I was called back in a week later for a panel interview. Before it started I was shown an orientation video which was really weird. I honestly felt like I was being interrogated in the panel interview. Had I known it was more a technical customer service position where people work off queues, I wouldn’t have wasted my time. I’ve been in that position before. Been there done that. Thankfully I am happy I landed a job soon after with Yardi’s competition and the interview there was more of a conversation than interrogation.

Interview
I was invited in for what I initially thought was an interview, but it was actually their "career fair" day. I found that out once I arrived. I knew something was off because they just said to come in any time between 7am and 2pm. I took a quick test, and then met with two team leads. They asked pretty basic interview questions and then sent me on my way. They said they like to let candidates know if they are chosen to proceed or not, and that I'd know by the following Friday. That was about 3 weeks ago so I'm not holding my breath on that!

Phone interview > in-person interview with recruiter and tour of the office > written assessment (accounting, SQL, IT, math involving logic/problem solving, customer service) > 20 min panel interviews with several team leads and managers > background check > JOB OFFER! Recruiter was great and provided updates throughout the whole process which took about three weeks.
