I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Columbia, SC) in Apr 2014
Interview
Long interview process. There are 13 questions with several follow-up questions. The second part of the interview is an actual store walk with another store manager asking questions along the way. It can be intimidating if you aren't prepared.

Most questions were behavioral based questions. They all asked about a particular competency such as planning and execution, talent development and integrity.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Peoria, IL) in May 2011
Interview
they took me in for three separate interviews and just asked a bunch of random stupid walmart questions. when answering walmart questions you just need to tell them what a goodie two shoes would do in that situation and your go to go.

Question 1
They asked if I was ever in any physical altercation with anyone before.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Atlanta, GA) in Jun 2013
Interview
I went through Soar consulting recruiting agency as a veteran. Walmart had a 2 round interview process for external hires. The first interview was with 3 executives face to face. I was flown to Bentonville for the second round of interviews where I was interviewed in front of 3 televisions per a televideo interview process. It was not a comfortable, personable interview which I found to be awkward, uncomfortable, and nerve racking.
