The first round was a technical assessment task. There were some basic SQL questions, and a coding exercise on Time Series forecasting. I had never used time series forecasting before, so I could not finish that exercise.

The experience was good overall. The people were very professional and were prompt too. The interviers were polite and professional. The questions seemed moderately difficult in retrospect. Although the job title said data science, they asked me a lot of coding questions which are typically asked for software development engineer roles.

Describe how attention mechanism works in neural networks
The recruiter called me 7ish AM in the morning without scheduling before hand. His number was associated to with some "Cleaners" in Texas. He couldn't speak English very well. He didn't introduce himself for the first 30 seconds and I was convincing myself that it's a scam. He was really rude too. When he wanted to schedule for an interview he was interrogating me that why I am not available in some time slots.
