Interview
Applied online and there were a number of tests that had to be completed. Afterwards, I was called for an interview at the store. This consisted of a face-to-face interview with one of the seniors as well as a group assessment. The group assessment was with 4 other interviewees and we had to read scenarios before suggesting improvements.

Interview
After being successful when answering questions online, you are selected to attend a group interview with about 8/9 others. This requires you to talk about yourself and why you would be good as a Waitrose Partner. The second task was in small groups of 3 or 4 and you had to sell a product such as toilet roll or paper plates. This could have been in the form of a presentation, role play or song. This was done to show personality and confidence which are things they look for. There was also short individual interviews, if you were successful in the group interview, which asked what kind of position and hours you would like and a few final questions to check you are right for the role.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Waitrose (Nailsea, England) in Sep 2015
Interview
I wanted to find full time employment so I sent a letter and my CV to all the local charities and the RSPCA came back to me saying they had a vacancy for a paid shop assistant and the following week I had an interview at the shop with the manager and area supervisor. After another week I was called to the shop for a second interview which was a practical interview on how I organised the shop and pricing stock and after another week I heard the results of the interview which ended up with a job share between me and another young girl.
