I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Waitrose (Londres, Angleterre) in Jun 2017
Interview
First there was a group interview. We first filled out application forms like our preferred store and date we could would and our details and that.
Next we were taken into another room in groups of around 6/8 (the people sat at the same table) given a list of items that they sell including price and a few key ingredients and another list full of customers and descriptions of either specific items they were looking for or asking for recommendations.
As a group we were then given like 5 minutes to assign 1 item to each person while 2 assessors sat in the room and observed us. After that we had to explain why we chose each item for said person. The main idea is that you were active in the discussion and putting your ideas forward while working as a team.
Afterwards it was 1:1 interviews
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Waitrose (Berkhamsted, England) in Feb 2018
Interview
I answered a couple of questionnaire/ assessments online. I was then invited to an in store interview which included a group assessment. For the group assessment we were given a scenario and we had to discuss with each other how to best organise the supermarket team for the day. It was simple and fairly easy. After this we were individually called in for our interviews.
