I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Uber in Oct 2015
Interview
First step after CV screening is online data/analytic test, followed by a Skype interview with a recruiter followed by another Skype with an operations manager.
Interviews to date were good, reasonably difficult but interesting and engaging conversations.
However, following the 3rd interaction (ops mgr interview) for which I received positive feedback and an almost immediate "pass" to the next ground - I now haven't heard anything for 4 weeks which is very strange. I can only assume at this stage that it's not going to happen but some sort of communication would be expected... I've sent a few follow ups and still silence.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions all centered around initiatives to get Uber X drivers on the road.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Uber (Perth, Australie-Occidentale) in Oct 2015
Interview
2 hour online test using Excel (mainly Pivot tables) and a phone interview with a HR rep. There were also some more longer questions in the 2 hour test which were related to the role such as giving examples of communication you would give. If you can justify your responses with critical thinking, I think you will do well.

Question 1
Why do you want to work at Uber?
Pretty stock standard questions, I felt like the open response questions in the 2 hour test were harder.

Interview
After a brief online application I was sent the dreaded excel test, which I completed just in time, and to a high enough standard that I had a follow up skype interview, and then subsequently an interview with the Operations manager in their office, which was the end of the road for me.
The excel test requires you to work efficiently, but isn't especially difficult. The phone interview was very general, and the interview in person quite full on. They made a big deal about being rule breakers and looking for "fast and dirty" solutions to problems. Also appreciated anecdotes of being extremely busy with work, as they clearly expect their staff to be completely dedicated to uber. They made it very clear that you were expected to work quite extreme hours.
Among others asked questions like: What's the biggest risk you've taken, what have you learnt recently, what's the biggest rule you've broken, what's your biggest failure etc. Also needed demonstrations of sales/persuasive ability which I think is where I fell short.
