Pretty straight forward, 2 rounds of interviews— phone and behavioral/technical. Phone interview was pretty standard, making sure it was a good fit for the company and the employee. Behavioral/technical was all in 1 interview, about an hour long.
I interviewed at Trane Technologies (La Crosse, WI)
Interview
The process was pretty quick once it got started. However it took 2 months from initial application to receive any updates or interview dates. Only had one interview consisting of two parts behavioral and technical leetcode. The Behavioral was straight forward and technical was couple of easy leetcode questions.

I applied online. I interviewed at Trane Technologies
Interview
I applied online and then a phone interview was scheduled. This was one of the worst recruiter interviews I’ve ever had. She asked me if I researched the company. I told her I researched the company before the interview because I never heard of the company. She ok great and then proceeded to repeat everything on the company site. When she asked me my salary I told her 68,500. She then said “that specific I’ve never had anyone give such a specific amount”. I thought that was strange. She asked me about my work and at the time I was a furloughed government contractor. She responded “you could’ve just said laid off” Overall the whole horrible experience lasted less than 15 minutes. I knew I didn’t get the job nor did I want it after that experience. Three days later I received a rejection letter.
