Interview
It was a double interview. I talked with a DSM first and then got sent on to the VP. It was a great interview and I enjoyed how they talked so highly of their company

Interview
Started with a brief phone interview where the person informed me of the overall aspects of the position and if I would be ok making only $xxxxxx as a base salary. Basically, she was saying that if you get hired, you may not immediately be earning commission. Also, no mileage reimbursement. Sounded iffy but I was eager about the weekday hours.
Next, I was invited to an in-person interview that was supposed to last 1 hour with one person. Instead, it turned into a 3-stage process that lasted 4 hours.
Slightly uncomfortable as other candidates were sitting in the same room with me in between interviews. The guys I interviewed with were ok. One sleazeball from New York who was rather full of himself.
I ended up not getting the job.
The annoying part was that the first guy said I would hear yes or no within 3 days and it took me following up a month later to get an answer.
Sysco is unprofessional and I am ultimately happy I was not offered the job. Apparently, they hire multiple sales associates but make it seem they are only looking for one. One person who they hired has been with them a whole year who still has yet to be given a territory to start making commission.

Interview
Interview process started with a recruiter from a corporate location contact you for quick 15-20 minute phone interview. Asked some basic questions and gave some basic information about the position. Next a District Manager met for an off site interview. A lot of the same questions (Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Etc.) but overall a pretty easy interview. Lastly was a meeting 3 more people separately including the VP of sales for their behavioral questions. Interview was long and and very scripted, took a couple hours.
