I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sysco (Harrisonburg, VA) in Jun 2016
Interview
One phone interview followed by three 1 one hour plus interviews working your way up the chain of command. Followed by drug test and background check. The whole process took about one month to complete from submitting application to going through the hiring process. It seemed to be a well oiled machine though the HR process.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sysco (Denver, CO)
Interview
A lot of questions. They try and catch you messing up the same story. Multiple people will ask you the same question and they take notes. Brilliant if you ask me.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Sysco (Canton, MI) in Sep 2015
Interview
Two phone interviews from corporate office, one panel interview (four interviewers) and a one-on-one over coffee with the district manager.
Fantastic experience, at each phase the company let me know when I would hear about next steps and followed up appropriately.
The panel interview had some difficult questions but just being yourself and being honest gives the panelists a good idea of if you'll be a good fit. A few mixed messages- "Sales reps need to work at least 60 hours a week just to survive" from one interviewer, "45 hours a week is the average" from another. But it is a commission based, sales job so the salary and hours depend on how much work you're willing to put in.
