**Disappointing and Uninterested Interview Experience** I recently went through three interview rounds, each lasting 30 minutes. If there was no genuine interest in my profile, I question why I was shortlisted and scheduled for interviews in the first place. The first round was satisfactory. However, the second round had an interviewer who joined 5 minutes late and ended 5 minutes early. The third round was particularly disappointing, involving the department head. Although it was supposed to be a 30-minute interview, he joined late, mentioned he would cut it short to 20 minutes, and ended it in just 15 minutes. If there is no intention to listen or engage, why conduct the interview at all? The interviewer used very unempathetic phrases in a string tone, such as, "Keep the analysis to yourself and give the final answer," and frequently cut me off with comments like, "I got what I need." Given this experience, I am concerned about the potential work environment.
