I was contacted by the company via email for an internship position in a specific project. The interview was a 1 hours talk with a human, both behavioral and technical.

Question 1
First he explained what they do in the company, then proceeded to ask a few behavioral questions that I don't remember, but were nothing too crazy, and then a """technical""" interview where I was asked basic questions about machine learning topics (overfitting and validation methods).
We also talked about some project in my CV, I was asked to further explain them.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at STMicroelectronics (Hyderâbâd) in Mar 2026

all the basic questions related to digital are asked
Latch and flipflop
Blocking and non blocking
Setup and hold time
And remaining time was spent on my projects I put a project on FIFO synchronous and asynchronous both I was grilled on that
It was great and i loved the way they described every single thing in details.
The environment of the interview was also great. The manager and the HR was very cooperative also
three rounds of interviews, no jobs at the end. Just some basic questions. I did not really understand what would include the internship so I did not go for the secound round.
