I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Qualcomm (San Diego, CA) in May 2012
Interview
I had a phone screen interview which lasted 45 minutes. Answered many tech questions. Was emailed a problem and asked to send back an implementation of the solution during the phone screen. Needed to be in front of a workstation during the phone screen.
The onsite interview is as follows: 6 interviewers in all: 2 managers, 4 peers. Mostly technical questions on communication theories, embedded systems and SW data structure questions. Worked thru some problem solutions on the white board. Some brain teasers.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Qualcomm (Hyderâbâd) in Oct 2015
Interview
I got to know of several job openings in qualcomm through an online job portal. I registered on Qualcomm's Career site and applied to a couple of job listed over there. This way my resume got into their database and started getting calls of several different profiles/jobs in qualcomm from next day on-wards.
The HR scheduled a telephonic screening call with the team lead which lasted for about half an hour.
In telephonic screening round, I was asked mostly about my current work background, few C questions, OS concepts in general and a few questions to judge the analytical skills.
After the telephonic round, they scheduled for face to face interviews at Hyderabad. They made proper arrangements for door to door pick and drop from my residence to Qualcomm, Hyderabad and back. I had 3 technical interviews, which lasted about 1-1.5 hours each. Finally, I had a small discussion with HR regarding compensation. I was told that I had cleared the interview process and they will be going ahead with the offer.
The pre-interview process was very quick, but post-interview process was incredibly slow. They took almost 2 months from the date of F2F interview to release the offer. The HR was very slow in responding to my emails/queries about the offer/compensation/bonus.
