I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Paychex (Albuquerque, NM) in Mar 2019
Interview
It went from a phone interview to a face-to-face interview with 2 supervisors. The supervisors did not seem to take the interview seriously. When I answered questions, they would interrupt during my answer and ask to elaborate. You then get to sit with someone in that position for 15 minutes and ask them questions. They don't tell you much of anything. It took a little over an hour and they asked you about 5 questions. Some questions were very difficult to answer if you haven't had any experience with payroll.

Have you ever gave out information you weren't supposed to?
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're sorry to hear you had a negative experience in your interview. If you'd like to discuss this in more detail so we can resolve, I invite you to contact TA_-_Managers@paychex.com.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Paychex (Rochester, NY) in Dec 2018
Interview
Went through a single round of interview ran by two different interviewers. Started off with behavioral questions (the STAR method was extremely helpful) then transitioned into a Q&A type session.

1st Round: Interviewing with the people that could be your direct superior (Sales Managers)
Easy interview, simple questions most anyone could answer. "Name a time you displayed grit" "Tell me a little about yourself" you'll get called back unless you really screw up
2nd round: Interview with your superiors superior and maybe additional sales managers who didn't get to interview you the 1st day.
They do drug test so be prepared for after the second interview, they will give you an offer and once you accept, you have 48-72 hours to complete. This goes for EVERY individual
