I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Paychex in Jan 2024
Interview
The recruiter was quick to respond after applying. The initial phone screening was a standard discussion about experiences, qualifications, and the positions. The recruiter appeared very uncertain on which team or department or if the position was even still available. Also, they seemed very focused on my salary expectations, then went on to express they're targeting the low end of their salary range on the job posting. Unelicited, the recruiter said that I would be moving forward in the interview process and to expect to hear from the hiring manager within 24 hours. Which wasn't true, at all. Never heard from anyone and the recruiter ignored every request for an update for a week. After that, I decided to withdraw my application. I rated it difficult just because how unprofessional the recruiter was during the process.

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Paychex (California City, CA) in Oct 2023
Interview
Short screening with a recruiter and a follow up with two managers. I had a total of 3 screens/interviews about an hour long each. It felt like I was being talked out of the job.

Question 1
Asked specifically about KPI and past quota performance, and if I would be ok cold calling majority of my day.
Very detailed and transparent, you know what you are getting from the role and what is expected of you very early in the interview process. Love it thus far and hope to see it continue!
