Question 1
1. why I'm interested in joining the company and 2. why sales position 3. what are relevant Sales Experiences I have.
I got reached out by a recruiter through a phone call and then an email. I was asked to schedule an interview. The interview was just one round, It was mainly related to my resume
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Paychex
Interview
process starts with the typical phone screen from a recruiter, if you're a good fit you move onto speaking to the hiring manager (in my case the person I would've reported to; Director of Channel Sales). Once you impress them, you move onto a panel interview (which was supposedly the final step in the process as I was told). Then after passing the panel interview you may have another "final" interview with a Sr. Director (as was my case). After investing all of that time and energy into creating a 30/60/90 business plan, performing a panel interview and proving you are committed, you may or may not get a conclusive response on your application. In my case I was "ghosted", even after sending messages to the hiring manager and recruiter for feedback. doesn't bode well for the type of strong communication a publicly traded company has and makes reading all the negative reviews from current employees quite palpable.
