I submitted my app, got a hirevue soon after, then got a first round interview about a month after, and then got the offer a week later very smooth process
The interview process was poorly organized. I was placed into a 2-hour technical assessment with no prior explanation of what it would involve. The assessment included components like dynamic material setup and blueprint scripting that were not mentioned in the job description and for a Graphic Artist role, the focus should be on aesthetics, not technical programming.
I was given the interviewer’s personal Mac laptop with Unreal Engine mirrored from a PC. The setup was slow and the shortcuts weren’t working, since Unreal is a PC-based program. This made it nearly impossible to work at full capacity.
I also proactively built a sample project before the assessment without being asked. After everything, I reached out multiple times to both the recruiter and the interviewer and received zero response; not even a rejection email.
I traveled to their offices for this. The least a candidate deserves is a follow-up.
The interview process involved a standard application and essay. This was followed by a virtual process that had to be completed online and then a panel interview with multiple candidates.
